Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday asked the international community and countries if they would silently witness another ‚ÄėSrebrenica-type‚Äô massacre and ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK)
The premier took to Twitter, and warned the international community of grave repercussions and reactions in the Muslim world, ‚Äúsetting off radicalisation and cycles of violence.‚ÄĚ
In another tweet, the PM outlined the current deteriorating situation in IOK by mentioning: ‚ÄúIn IOK, 12 days of curfew, presence of extra troops in an already heavily militarised occupied territory, sending in of RSS goons, complete communication blackout; with the example of Modi¬†s earlier ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Gujarat.‚ÄĚ
Yesterday, PM Khan said the whole Pakistani nation stood by their Kashmiri brethren in the most difficult time and Pakistan would keep extending moral, diplomatic and political support for them. He held a meeting with prominent leaders of AJK and Hurriyat Conference in Muzaffarabad.
He said Pakistan would highlight the Kashmir cause at every international forum. The Kashmiri leaders thanked the Prime Minister for observing the Independence Day as solidarity day with the Kashmiris and for visiting Muzaffarabad where he addressed the AJK Legislative Assembly.
The Kashmiri leaders also apprised the Prime Minister that India has crossed all limits of brutalities in the occupied Kashmir, which was unprecedented in any civilised world.
