Patwari Amir Hussain was dismissed after it was proved that he was guilty of taking bribe from a citizen of Gulberg area. He was proceeded against under the Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability Act 2006 on account of demanding Rs 600,000 for issuance of a non-objection certificate (NOC) regarding a house from a resident, Syed Muhammad Ali.
