ISLAMABAD: The additional session judge of Islamabad court has summoned former president and accused in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case General (retd) Pervez Musharraf on March 1, Geo News reported Saturday.

The additional session judge of Islamabad court heard the Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case today. During the proceedings, the lawyer representing Musharraf submitted the request to provide exemption to the accused from today’s hearing.

The court admitted the plea and provided exemption to Musharraf from today’s hearing while it ordered him to appear on March 1.

Instead of lawyer Ilyas Siddiqui, Akhtar Shah Advocate appeared in the court and submitted his power of attorney to represent Pervez Musharraf in the case.The court also instructed the police to submit a new challan of Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case before the next hearing.The News
