ISLAMABAD- Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took a suo motu notice on increase in petroleum prices.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will hear the case today. Justice Ijaz Ahmed and Justice Gulzar Ahmad are other members of the bench.
Notices were sent to the Attorney General of Pakistan and OGRA officials. The CJP took suo motu notice on the Supreme Court registrar’s note. Attorney General, Munir A Malik will appear in the court today to present government stance in the case. – DunyaNews
