ISLAMABAD: Thirty four independent candidates, who emerged as winners on Punjab Assembly seats, have decided to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) unconditionally.
In Punjab, PML-N has bagged more than 200 seats out of total 297. It doesn’t require the support of any other party now to form government in Punjab.PML-N’s Khawaja Ahsan met with independent candidates and formally invited them to join his party. Shahbaz Sharif was also said to be present in the meeting.“Independent candidates will soon announce joining PML-N,” Ahsan told reporters. – OnlineNews
