Police arrests 120 suspects

QUETTA: Police arrested 120 suspects during a raid against target killers, abductors for ransom, vehicle thieves including many proclaimed offenders, impounding recovered ammunition, drugs, bombs, beer, vehicles, motorbikes, cell phones as well, here on Sunday.Talking to the media during a press conference in Airport Police station, DIG Quetta Operations Hamid Shakeel said that around 120 suspects have been detained in several criminal activities.DIG Quetta Operations Hamid Shakeel informed that they also arrested the murderers of Bakhtawar and Dr. Javed Khan, Incharge of National Population Welfare Hazaro Town with the help of mobile phone, while the criminals had accepted their crime of killing by opening fire at him in his clinic, also injuring his brother.The criminal Naimat Ullah further revealed during the investigation that he injured Muhammad Rasool by firing at him. Police have also recovered the murdering weapon from his possession.Barori Police captured three suspects namely Fida Hussain, Baseer and Mehdi who confessed to have murdered Habib Ullah.In different raids, Airport Police seized twenty-five kg Charas, 264 foreign beer bottles, 13 fugitives, a pistol, two stolen cars recovered, and a group of motorbike thieves namely Lal Khan, Abdul Hamid, Muhammad Siddique and Muhammad Shah were detained.On a tip off, Kuchlak Police diffused two rocket type bombs containing 29 kg High-X explosive material for bridge demolition. Police also arrested several cattle thieves namely Yar Muhammad, Wazir Muhammad and Muhammad Akbar recovering animals of one lac twenty thousand.

In addition, DIG Quetta Operations Hamid Shakeel stated that Police traced three gangs of target killers, abductors for ransom, whereas traced eight gangs of vehicle, motorcycle thieves capturing thirty-six, eighty-four fugitives including absconders.Police recovered twenty-eight pistols, nine Kalashankoves, two short-guns, fifteen Hundred and seventy-two rounds, fourteen grenades, eight kilograms of explosive material along with time pencils, thirty-eight kilos of Charas, two-hundred and seventy-two beer bottles, twenty stolen vehicles, four trucks and a rickshaw, eight motor cycles, three mobiles, Ten jerry can chemicals, twenty CDs of porno films, a motor, and took legal action against sixteen vehicles, fifteen motor-bikes under section 550; while twelve hundred and fifty Motor-cycles, and a vehicle was booked under the section 188.

Inspector General Police Malik Muhammad Iqbal, after raiding all the heroine addicts in Habib Nullah, directed all SHOs to initiate crackdowns against drug traffickers and addicts who were using young lads in drugs business.Inspector General Police Malik Muhammad Iqbal asked for help from locals of the area to report against any drug trading being in action in any area. And police would act accordingly to halt such business activities.Investigations are underway against all the culprits captured by police.
