Women Entrepreneurship Program launched by Jazba Foundation

Jazba Foundation is an organisation instituted by the former Governor of Punjab, Lt Gen. (Retd) Khalid Maqbool & M. Ramzan Sheikh (CE Royal Palm Golf & Country Club)  to support the people in distress ,during times of natural calamity by providing  immediate alleviation to the affectees and alongwith this also  aspires to render adequate support  in raising living standard of the skilled ones.

In this connection Jazba Foundation launched their Women Entrepreneurship Program yesterday at the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club.Through this program financial aid is provided to women in the shape of equipment, machines, furniture or essential accessories related to the trade the aspiring beneficiaries are capable of using to  their advantage. In the first phase 50 women selected on the basis of a comprehensive scrutiny are being provided with computers, stitching machines, printing process machines, bakery products equipment, essentials of a primary school, Quran academy and even required items to set up a medical dispensary.

On this occasion some of the beneficiaries who spoke on the occasion were Zohra Zaheer who wants to set up a computer centre,Rashida Parveen wants to set up a primary school,Hafiza Aasiya a Quran Academy,Lubna Akbar a dispensary, Azmat Parveen a knitting set up and Zartaj a parlor.Certainly the fields are diverse  and the canvas is huge.

On this occasion Dr. Saqib of Akuwat Foundation commited that if the beneficiaries were interested in any counselling or further enhancement in business activity they will be willing to support the efforts of Jazba Foundation to carry on this sucessfully.
