PM briefed on Pakistan foreign policy

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Monday was given a comprehensive briefing by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the issues and challenges faced by Pakistan in the realm of foreign affairs.

Secretary Foreign Affairs Jalil Abbas Jilani along with senior officials of his ministry apprised the Prime Minister on the initiatives and efforts taken by Pakistan to further its national objectives at the international fora. The Prime Minister was briefed on Pakistan’s policy on key issues, nature and status of Pakistan’s relations with the United States, India, European Union, Muslim countries, multilateral and regional organizations.

The Prime Minister was also given a detailed update on Pakistan’s contribution towards world peace. The meeting was attended by the senior officials of Prime Minister’s Secretariat and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. – APP
