CIA,ISI to continue intelligence sharing:PM

LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has said that the relations between ISI and CIA has improved in recent days and intelligence sharing would continue between Pakistan and USA but a clear strategy may be evolved regarding drone attacks.He was talking to the media here on Sunday. He said that the government has communicated USA that operations like Abbottabad would not be tolerated in future. The nuclear assets of the country are in the safe hands. Pakistan is not a feeble nation and no one may dare to offense against her.He said that commission on Abbottabad operation would be constituted very soon. In this regard, the consultation process is underway. “Mian Nawaz Sharif is running his party only and we are taking all the parties on board”, PM added.He was of the view that drone attacks have united all the local Taliban and Pakistan has some differences with USA on drone attacks. He said that Pakistan told Hilary Clinton that USA  has to respect the sentiments of Pakistani people. The matter regarding family members of Osama Bin Ladin would be resolved according to the law.He said that making of inquiry commission to probe the terrorists’ attack on naval base is on cards of the government. Naval Chief has also expressed his desire for it.Gillani said that the government is working to overcome the energy crises on war footing basis and Pakistan has also sought the American assistance in this regard. In addition to this the country also asked USA for the access of western markets. He said that it would be the first budget after NFC award and all the resources would be transferred to the provinces.

“People brought us into the power and they can only dismiss us. Opposition should forget midterm polls and complete its preparedness for next general elections. Those elements would be frustrated in next elections which are only swathing their political shops only.He said that Pakistan is in the state of war as she lost some 36000 lives against terror whose blood would not go waste. The country is fully capable to eradicate terrorism as the entire nation is committed to fight it.Responding a question, he said that he has no asset abroad the country and if it is proven, he will give it to Imran Khan. – Onlinenews
