Draft of PPP, PML-Q deal sent to president

After agreement Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will issue a joint statement.Earlier, MQM delegation led by Farooq Sattar called on PML-Q leadership in Islamabad. Both the parties discussed ways to join the government. Leaders of both the parties said that the government was facing a difficult situation.PML-Q chief Ch. Shujaat said that all the reports about party’s alliance with PPP and inducting PML-Q ministers were untrue and baseless. He stated that it was decided in the earlier meeting that party leadership would be consulted to form an alliance with the government. Faisal Saleh Hayat said that it was yet to be decided either they would join the government or refuse the proposal.MQM’s Farooq Sattar said that upcoming budget would be the biggest test for the government. He opined that it would be a challenge to prepare the budget and give relief to the people. He stated that the government should come up with unconventional budget this year. – Daunyanews
