President asks CM Sindh to take stringent steps for law, order

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has directed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take stringent and effective measures for the maintenance of law and order in Karachi. A statement of the CM House here on Saturday night said that the President telephoned Syed Qaim Ali Shah and discussed the prevailing law and order situation in the metropolis. It said that the President asked the Sindh Chief Minister  to take strict and effective measures for the law and order in the city and that the security of the lives and property of the people be ensured – APP
