Pakistan whips Haiti in Chess Olympiad

KARACHI (APP)- After disappointing opening day, Pakistan returned to winning ways when they thrashed Haiti by 3.5 points to 0.5 in the 39th Chess Olympiad in Khanty Mansiyk (Russia) on Wednesday.Pakistan’s top rated player and International Master defeated Mondoly Manon, Aamir Karim beat Jacques Luxama,  Wasim Akram beat Piersont Lebrun. Tanvir Gilani’s match against Joslin Bazil ended in draw. – App
