After successful Participation in the 5th European Speleo Caving Conference 2016 the National Speleo and Caving team of Pakistan Headed by team leader Hayatullah Khan Durrani (Pride-of-Performance) arrived here in Quetta from Great Britain.
More than 1350 cavers, speleologists and officials from all over the European countries and rest of the world participated in the Conference, President of International Union of Speleology UIS Dr. Kyung Sik Woo and Secretary UIS Fadi H Nader including officials of the UIS from rest of the world were also present in the conference.
Pakistan National Speleo and Caving team was officially invited first time in EuroSpeleo, Conference on the great efforts of Simon James Brooks of Orpheus Caving Club Derby Shire to acknowledge the outstanding performance of Pakistan’s legendary caver Hayatullah Khan Durrani for the development of Caving and Speleology in Pakistan since 1984, Earlier Simon James Brooks of the Orpheus Caving Club Derbyshire warm welcomed the Pakistan National caving team on arrival to Great Britain.
It is worth mentioning that Hayatullah Khan Durrani is 1st Pakistan legendry cave explorer and founder of caving and speleological sports in Pakistan he is eminent mountaineer of International repute and founder and patron of Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan and Pakistan Cave Research & Caving Federation. Muhammad Abubakar Durrani young explorer and cave photographer and Muhammad Umar Jr. Caver and Director Youth caving trainings were part of the National caving team of Pakistan.
The Pakistan National caving team was unanimously nominated by the officials of Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan and Pakistan Cave Research and Caving Federation. The Bureau meeting of International Union of Speleology UIS chaired by president of UIS Dr. Kyung Sik Woo and Secretary UIS Fadi H Nader was held in Dales Bridge on the eve of 5th European Speleo, Caving Conference. Hayatullah Khan Durrani also represented Pakistan in the Bureau meeting of International Union of Speleology. Large number of the UIS Bureau members from different countries attended the meeting.
President of UIS Dr. Kyung Sik Woo and Secretary UIS Fadi H Nader hailed the role of Hayatullah Khan Durrani for promotion of caving in Pakistan and they also confirmed official Invitation to Pakistan for Participation in the 17th UIS world General Assembly meeting (ICS) scheduled to be held in July in Sydney Australia 2017.
Hayatullah Khan Durrani presented the commemorative shield to the Secretary UIS Fadi H Nader on behalf of Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan and Pakistan cave research and caving federation, Video documentary film titled “Cave and caving in Pakistan.” Directed by Mohammad Abubakar Durrani was show in the Cavers Cinema and was very much appreciated by the cavers and audience.
Hayatullah Khan Durrani attractively addressed the closing ceremony and presented commemorative shield to the Secretary of European Speleo Congress Damian Waere on behalf of Chiltan Adventurers Association Balochistan and Pakistan cave research and caving federation. Damian Waere hailed Pakistan Participation in the European Speleo Congress and appreciated the role of Hayatullah Khan Durrani. The Pakistan National Caving team also attended the training course in Caving, SRT Cave surveying, cave photography, cave mapping under supervision of Simon James Brooks in Yorkshire and peek district as part of 10th Pak-Britain Joint Caving and cave exploration training expedition Great Britain.
The Chairman of Pakistan Cave Research Caving Federation and Chiltan Adventurers Association Malik Abdul Rahim Babai hailed the participation of Pakistan National Caving and speleology team in Eurospeleo Conference 2016 Great Britain. He thanked Damian Waere, Simon James Brooks and Boyd Potts.
